DeviantArt Protect: DMCA Process Improvements
DeviantArt Protect now sends notifications for potential NFT infringement that include a direct link to OpenSea’s DMCA form, removing a layer of friction from the takedown process. Upgrade to Core for unlimited coverage with DeviantArt Protect! DeviantArt Protect was launched in 2021 to better safeguard artists’ rights, providing state-of-the-art image recognition software to notify artists of potential infringement. One of the hardest things artists have to deal with involves the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) takedown process, which on third-party marketplaces is not always easy to find or use. With this in mind, we’ve improved the notifications sent by DeviantArt Protect for non-fungible tokens (NFTs). When a notification for potential NFT infringement is received, it now includes a direct link to OpenSea’s DMCA takedown form—making it easier to fill out and file a takedown request. While art theft continues to be a problem that impacts creators across the Internet

What is it? DeviantArt wants to give artists the ability to continue doing what they love; being creative! That’s why we created the DeviantArt Collective, a program that sponsors exciting and uplifting artists. We’ll be working closely with these artists to engage and inspire the art community on DeviantArt through contests, challenges, and more. We hope that you find inspiration — as we did — from this unique group and join in as we delve deeper into the art community and what makes it so special. We’ll be featuring interviews with the artists on DeviantArt, as well as sharing some of the Collective’s newest works and community initiatives. If you feel you'd be a good fit, we're opening this opportunity up for more and more deviants; hope to see you there! Who's in it? We're so excited to announce the current and past members of the DeviantArt Collective. These deviants have shown real joy in enriching the art community, and we can't wait to see what they do next on

Directly On Film Effects
Motion pictures are a special visual effect themselves. The first motion pictures from kinetoscopes in 1890s of just people bowing or moving around spawned what we now know as movies and television. In the 1880s, French scientist Charles-Emile Reynaud created the Theatre Optique, which projected a series of images onto a screen. In 1892, he showed off his creation in front of an audience with three animated short films that were created by painting the scenes directly onto the film frames.
Here is “Pauvre Pierrot,” one of the aforementioned animated films and also what is considered to

In this video, we explore how Israel’s temple in the Bible is described as the place where God’s space and humanity’s space are one. In fact, the whole biblical drama can be told as a story about God’s temple. In the opening pages of Genesis, God creates a cosmic temple, and in the person of Jesus, God takes up personal residence in his temple-world. By the end of the biblical story, all of creation has become God’s sacred temple.
The Bible Project is a non-profit creating free videos that walk through the narrative of the Bible book-by-book and theme-by-theme. They also have an informative & entertaining
An idea I had a while ago was to shoot landscapes with a different meaning than usual.
A fun way to do so and a good challenge was to take pictures where each image is a different day of the week, meaning that if you looked at Tuesday the image you should feel Tuesday the day.
After about a year and a half I finally finished this project and I do feel I accomplished that.
Getting the images to flow as a week does and also tie them together so you could flow further into next week was tricky, but well worth putting the effort into.
I really hope you can see a week in these images:
Thank you for looking.
